British Eventing Horseheath Horse Trials
British Eventing returns to Horseheath 10/11 August 2019
The PwC Horseheath Horse Trials, Cambridgeshire, take place over two days 10/11 August 2019 and attracts competitors from across the region and beyond due to the easy access from the M11 and no small country lanes to negotiate, In addition to BE80 (T) to BE105, there are two new BE initiatives including a 4 year old class for young inexperienced horses and BE Under 18 class for junior competitors competing in the BE90. The cross country course has, once again, been expertly designed by BE Course Designer Tina Ure of Ely Eventing centre, a British Eventing Accredited Coach and built by David Carpenter and his team. Ground preparations have already begun with the areovating and equivating taking place to ensure perfect ground conditions despite the lack of rain in the region.
Horseheath Horse Trials is unique in offering spectators excellent views across almost the whole XC course from a single vantage point and when not watching the action there is multitude of trade and food stands keep the spectators busy. To date over £4500 gate money has been donated - split between two adopted charities East Anglian Air Ambulance and Maggie’s Centre Cambridge.
